Perceptions of safety under the Trump and Biden administrations provide valuable insight into community sentiment. To better understand these views, Mispar surveyed members of its exclusive panel, asking which administration respondents felt safer under.
Methodology
We surveyed 219 members of Mispar’s exclusive panel of Orthodox and Chassidish Jewish Americans. All respondents were over the age of 18 and English-speaking. Participants were asked: “Which administration did you feel safer with?” The response options included Trump, Biden, and neither.
Recruitment Strategy
Participants were recruited from Mispar’s proprietary panel, which is composed exclusively of Orthodox and Chassidish American Jews. Respondents received panel points redeemable for a Visa gift card as appreciation for their time.
Findings
These findings clearly demonstrate that within the Orthodox and Chassidish Jewish community surveyed, the Trump administration was overwhelmingly seen as providing greater safety. With a significant portion feeling unsafe under both administrations, the data also highlights ongoing concerns about security that transcend political leadership.
